Farhad Hussain, a contemporary artist, was born in 1975 in Jamshedpur, India. He embarked on his educational journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. Subsequently, he pursued his passion for art, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) from Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, between 1998 and 2003. His commitment to his craft led him to further studies, as he completed a Post Diploma in Painting at M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, from 2003 to 2005.
Hussain's artistic journey has been marked by participation in various exhibitions, showcasing his talent and dedication. Notable exhibitions include the National Exhibition in New Delhi in 2005, group exhibitions at Sarjan Art Gallery in Vadodara in 2004, and the Camlin Exhibition in Mumbai in 2004. His artistic contributions have been recognized with awards like the Best Watercolor Award at the Indian Art College Art Exhibition in 1998. Additionally, Hussain received the Nasreen Mohamedi Scholarship during his time at M.S. University of Baroda in Vadodara in 2004.
