Indrapramit Roy is a highly accomplished artist with a rich and diverse background in fine arts. He embarked on his artistic journey by earning an MA in Creative Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at M.S. University, Baroda, in 1989. His dedication to honing his craft led him to pursue further studies abroad, earning an MA in Painting from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London in 1992. During his time in Europe, he also had the privilege of studying in artistic hubs like Cité des Arts in Paris and Hochschule der Kunst in Berlin, supported by the Inlaks Scholarship and Erasmus Exchange Scholarship. 

Over the years, Indrapramit Roy's artistic prowess has shone through in various forms. He has held nine solo exhibitions across major cities in India, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Baroda, and Bangalore. Additionally, his work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions, both in India and on the international stage, including prominent events like the International Cairo Biennale in Cairo and exhibitions in Melbourne and Perth. Apart from his visual artistry, Roy's talent extends to book design, illustration, and stage design projects. He is also a published writer of critical essays, further demonstrating his multifaceted contributions to the world of art. His outstanding achievements have earned him prestigious accolades such as the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Award, the Burston Award, and the Fulbright Fellowship, solidifying his position as a distinguished figure in contemporary Indian art.
