Biography:
Nirmala Prabhakar, born in Hyderabad in 1980, is an accomplished artist known for her dedication to the world of visual arts. Her educational journey in the field of painting includes a Bachelor of Arts (Painting) degree from Hyderabad and a Master of Arts (Painting) degree from the Fine Arts Faculty of the M.S. University of Baroda.
During her academic pursuits, Nirmala Prabhakar achieved significant recognition. She was awarded a University Gold Medal during her graduation in Hyderabad, a testament to her talent and commitment to her craft. In 2003, she also received the Hyderabad Art Society Award, further acknowledging her contributions to the art community.
Nirmala has actively participated in various group exhibitions, showcasing her artwork in different parts of India. Some of these exhibitions were held at prestigious venues like the Bayer ABS Gallery in Baroda, Shrishti Art Gallery in Hyderabad, Camlin Art Exhibition in Bangalore, and Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi.
In addition to her exhibition activities, Nirmala Prabhakar has engaged in workshops and art camps to further enhance her artistic skills. This includes a Glass workshop at Space Studio in Baroda and participation in a Painting camp at Rabindra Bharati, Hyderabad.
