Biography:

Pradiptaa Chakraborty, born in Malda Town, West Bengal, in 1979, is a renowned artist with a strong background in both graphics and painting. He is an alumnus of Kala Bhavana, Vishva Bharati University, Shantiniketan, where he specialized in Graphics. Additionally, he holds a five-year diploma degree in painting from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Throughout his academic journey, Pradiptaa received notable scholarships and recognition for his dedication to the arts. He was a National scholarship holder and a Merit Scholarship holder from Kala Bhavana, Vishva Bharati University, Shantiniketan, showcasing his commitment to his craft and academic excellence.

Pradiptaa Chakraborty has been actively participating in exhibitions since 2002, gaining recognition for his distinctive artistic voice. His solo exhibitions have taken place in various parts of India, while his participation in group exhibitions has earned him a global reputation within the art community.

The inspiration for Pradiptaa's work is drawn from literature, poetry, and the performing arts, with a special focus on the street theatre of West Bengal, which has a rich cultural heritage spanning generations. He currently resides and works in Haryana.

Pradiptaa Chakraborty's art has found its place in prestigious collections across India and around the world.
